How we began: Original Earth Mother Products began as one woman's search to improve the health and well-being of her family.  After reading hundreds of labels and doing way too much research, she realized that everything her family came in contact with had questionable ingredients.  After searching for alternatives she discovered that most of the products readily available that touted themselves as being "green" or "safe" were either simply biodegradeable - doing nothing for the health of her family - or so overpriced they weren't an option. Even finding affordable, organic and healthy personal care products without additives or toxins proved to be daunting at best. After reading, learning and even more research, she began making most of her own cleaners, air fresheners and many personal care products.  She not only discovered that keeping her family safe and healthy was an affordable option, the products she created and used actually worked better than the riskier toxic products she had been using!  She decided that everyone should be able to benefit from healthy, affordable products and what better way than to take them to the web? At Original Earth Mother Products we strive for quality products that are afforable.  Customer Service is extremely important to us.  We want our customers happy and healthy!  We're proud of our products and our service.  If you don't see something you're interested in, just contact us and we'll see if we can whip it up for you. No worries! What goes into our products? Only the best ingredients of course. We do not use fragrance oils, artificial colors or dyes. Any aroma or fragrance in our products is a direct result of the ingredients themselves.  Even our Air Freshener uses organic and/or wildcraft essential oils. No fragrance oils of any type. No parabens. No petroleum products. In an effort to keep costs down, we will occasionally change our packaging. We will, however, continue to provide you with the same quantity of product.  Additionally, if you've ordered from us before and simply need to refill a face wash, hand wash or air freshener, let us know.  If you're willing to reuse the original bottle we'll send a refill bottle and you'll SAVE money! Shipping Information: We currently ship via USPS. Because shipping rates keep increasing, we try to make sure true shipping costs are charged and find the least expensive way to ship your items to you while still maintaining the integrity of the product.  What does this mean?  Simply put, some carriers will allow parcels to sit in trailers all day in the hot sun (or freezing wind) which could affect the products. We try to avoid these carriers. We offer free shipping on orders over $75.00.
